The upload schedule will be awful and that won't change. Not only will I be inconsistent with uploads, but I also predict that the time between uploads will be quite long. If you can't get on board with that, go and read something else because, as I mentioned above, I'm writing this for myself: it's not for money and it's not for you guys, I just thought it would be fun to share my work here rather than let it rot in a folder on my phone.
Weapon-style as a whole is rather scattered and disorganised, so it's not super popular anywhere. This is especially so in Northern Tundra since there isn't much metal, which means there are few forges, which means it's difficult to find places to advance weapon-style Anima (this will be explained in a short while). In comparison, ice, snow, water, wind etc. Anima are much more common because Northern Tundra has a lot of places and naturally growing ingredients which are suited to creating/advancing these Anima.
I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but Isaac doesn't even know who his parents are. He grew up in a place called the farm, which is essentially a breeding ground for humans. Slaves are put there and forced to reproduce to supplement the Sect's population. It's cruel, but it's also necessary since it provides almost all their young recruits and the Sect would soon crumble without the farm.
These are the same pills he used at lower stage, he just has to refine the Qi a bit more at his meridian point when he absorbs it.
He is, but most people think he's a second class talent due to his cultivation speed and him living where most of the second class talents picked houses.
She's not the heir yet, the competition between her and Johan is still ongoing. The reason her position is so favourable is because, since they have a method to improve talent, the Sect values intelligence, cunning, determination, hard work etc. more than talent. Lara has shown she's an absolute genius with a good work ethic since she was young, so many people think she would make a better family leader than Johan. Her position is also largely due to a factor which will be explained later.
Thanks to TheAddictedOtaku, TheAntiSimp and Fhjbvdg for leaving power stones. Thanks to supercat_12000, HaracasAye and joaos for sticking with the book and continuing to support it all the way until now. Thanks to everybody else who's supported the book and shown love. I can't name everybody, but just know your contributions have not gone unappreciated.
What an absolute hero. Later on in the book there’ll be lots of cruel and evil deeds, but moments like this show that Blood Path cultivators aren’t all bad.
Call me stubborn, but I'm deliberately avoiding reading other novels so that I can focus on developing my own writing style. Even if it's foolish or inefficient, I want to create a style that's entirely my own (in fact, I'm beginning to regret using Anima instead of creating a completely original idea, but it's too late to do anything about that). I'm confident I can come up with my own schemes and plots, and I'm equally confident I can fix the error in my writing style that you've pointed out (though you won't see those improvements until chapter 80 - I'm just finishing 82 now).
The lack of interesting content was something I picked up on after writing this section, so dialogue became a focus in the next few chapters. I'm still working on removing unnecessary explanations, but as long as I know what the problem is, it's only a matter of time until it get fixed. The issue is the problems I don't know I have, which is why comments like this are so important. Thanks for your review as well, it helped me to see an error in my writing and overcome a bottleneck in developing my style.
I feel like I spend too much time describing what a character is thinking about doing, when I could just describe them actually doing it instead. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but the point is that I'll try to make the novel more exciting by removing wasted words and unnecessary explanations. That way we can get to the important parts quicker.
