Well, no offense but, given that this book was the fifth I had read that evening that had the same cliché rehashed, reused plotline, I think I am allowed to be fed up. I thought this book was going to be different but, I guess that was my wishful thinking given that the romance genre in Webnovel is saturated with wannabe Chinese -like drama-driven novels. Another Chinese novel that promotes misogyny and ambivalent ***ist. Never have I ever loaded a ML as I loathe this one. The people who are enjoying stories like these must be sick. And if you thought translating this novel was a good idea then think again.

Quite a letdown. I thought with this FL at least will get to finally see a woman who doesn't give two shit about her "husband" who up until recently treated her like crap. But no, we see her not really standing firm on her decision to get a divorce. Stories like this reinstate this narrative that love can be forced upon oneself and that the woman just needs to be patient and she will be the ONE to change him even if it means being abused emotionally and ridiculed.
