Author here. I gotta say, now that I am writing a novel, I have a newfound respect for authors. It's not easy to plan ahead and write stuff. Anyway, I want to give my best and improve at least a little bit every day. You support can help me in clearing this challenge. What I meant is there's not enough coins in Europe in order to every austrian citizen live as medium class citizens without causing a major hole in the finances of most of Europe, not to mention the amount the rich and the nobles hoard. In the medium/late medieval ages, most of gold and silver came from colonies in the Americas and Africa, which colonization haven't really started yet in the novel. It's no wonder Europeans wanted to colonize and find new lands that bad in the era of the Great navigation, because of the gold they found in America
