your thinking is flawed. maybe in our reality what you say is true but in a world where the strong can do anything to the weak then his thinking is correct. you need to have strength to be able to do anything in this world and helping someone who is going to be mentally broken even when you save them is going to help no one. better to help yourself than someone who is like that
