It was a spur-of-the-moment thing and he counted his lucky stars he had the presence of mind to do so. Because his father planned to have Jon shipped off to the Gift and take up the lordship of one of the castles with uncle Benjen as the regent. Harry's warning about the White Walkers and the army of the dead along with Jon's status as the prophesied Prince(which he really didn't believe in but came extremely useful) has made his father reconsider those plans. Setting that aside, Harry could see some other advantages in having a castle to his name. He'd have preferred the Moat but a castle on Sea Dragon point was also quite welcome. He was sure he could accommodate some of his plans for advancing the cause of magic in the area. The large size of the North should work in his favor for starting a school for magic. This meant their mother would remain confined to her chambers for many days to come. This was not taken well by Robb or Sansa. No one felt the absence of their mother more so than Sansa. It didn't help that Septa Mordane was no longer among the living standing ready to organize fake tea parties for his little sister. Harry would have felt responsible if not for the fact that the zealot septa dug her own grave by whispering nonsense and hatred in his mother's ears. In his opinion, it was a terrible misjudgement on the septa's part to underestimate the love a mother holds for her children. After making sure his children and grandchildren remained safe after his 'demise' he went along on a journey. He travelled the known world and already he could see muggles were destroying nature in their bid to dominate the planet. They bred like rats exhausting and polluting the resources of the planet. It came to a point where the world nations began to fight for basic resources like water.
