So yeah, the other stuff (except training rain) helps sunny to get stronger (feeding saint memories, training shadow dance), but in terms of essence he didn't really think that he could surpass Nephis? not only that she is fighting more, she also receives double the amount of essence from any kills (soul shard and the from the kill directly like sunny)

we have no idea how strict his aspect is on this. Like if neph asks him to do something, for example 'can you give me a glass of water', does this count as a command already? we don't know. Also why so much hate for his aspect? there is finally a story with a character who can't just walk around and do whatever he wants to do, but has to work for it.
