I think it's supposed to be Conflict here, not Competition. Conflict is the greater power, and rules over Competition đ

Daniel tilted his head in feigned confusion, then rested it onto his closed fist. He then said, "Correct me if I am wrong but.. fate is an omnipotent yet passive concept of existence. While time was of the essence, and only a few days were left before the beginning of the Exalted Assembly, proper research needed to be done, so while waiting for their presence to be reported, and for the domain of Karma to be officialized and recorded, Daniel decided to spend time trying to prepare himself for the first apparition of his fictitious domain, and it so happened that he knew where to start. - Gyroplex142yrReplied to Laifzing
I don't think so, because when Sewah took over his body, and his karma points went into the negative, it said he lost most of his abilities due to not being able to spend negative karma (I'm pretty sure that's because of the way the system evolved around Daniels character tbh)
Daniel spent the following few minutes in silence, while contemplating the nature of his newly acquired abilities, among which was the one he had just used-an evolved form of Karmic Retribution called 'Active Conscience', which at the cost of every single point of karma he had, would turn the karma of every person in the proximity, into a power that could benefit them, or destroy them. The more karma was used to activate this power, the higher was the chance of this ability being truly beneficial to those with a positive karma, or truly deadly. - Gyroplex142yrCommented

At this point, it had become quite obvious to Daniel in what kind of situation he was currently in, so he looked down in dismay, as if unable to think of a next step, and said, "My name is Dan, I am a champion of Destiny.. and I don't think I belong to this time." - Gyroplex142yrReplied to Laif
I think the healing essence he would get with his returned powers would only restore his body to the scarred state, as that's how his body naturally was before being amputated
Daniel knew that, if healed without the use of healing essence, these wounds would leave permanent scars on his body which would remain with him even if he regained his powers.. but unfortunately, he had no alternatives. He needed to recover as quickly as possible, as he and his companions had inadvertently entered a place that had bigger dangers than a few large animals, and he was unsure whether they were fine.
