really like the novel so far. it does have some similarities to Vampire's Slice Of Life. About the slight yuri i wouldn't mind it being more than slight.

The tournament is quite unfair. you won't be able to get the actually top 10 disciplines this way. Talented disciplines get eliminated due to bad matchups (like finding even more talented disciplines) and some not as talented disciplines make it though due to luck (like finding even less talented disciplines). The cross realm battles inside a tournament in this manner doesn't help the sect either. It would have been fine if the weaker party challenged the stronger party for their rank instead of these matchups.
