Could have been a decent story ruined by too much exposition. I find myself often skimming Through them. Not every detail and thought process should be spell out, it disrupts the story's flow. Context, subtext, and clues works fine if not better even! Readers need not be spoon-fed. Instead let them solve puzzles. let them work for their meal. dont look down on them.

The blurp intrigued me and made me interested, interested enough to pick it up at least. But alas, it couldn't hold my interest, and to go into details about why would be giving this book too much credit. Best I can do is give prospective readers hints. Wink wink 😉

at this point it would be much easier to learn chinese.

It is a tough time to be a reader who cares about grammar. And I must say that reading light novels and webnovels have softened me somewhat. But if an author were lazy about basic grammar, what else in the book might they have gotten wrong?

Absolutely ridiculous! Planting cucumbers that's strengthens cultivation, fine-- But planting a piece of paper with fighting skills and growing a plant from it that grants said skill? I know this is fiction but god damn, I can only suspend my disbelief so far. Also the continuous *** jokes isnt funny even if the author writes it 7 more times. This web novel has little going for it, so of you're reading this just STAY AWAY. You have been warned.
