she's actually already spitting in your soup when she's talking like that.
it's five, the first two should be the eldest and other sibling, and the eldest was instructing tasks for the 3 remaining before going to fetch water.
yup, that's why they required a type of payment to offset the karma. If they help directly without the other person asking for help or at least paying them to help her/him, they'll cause some type of backlash from heavenly dao for interfering in someone's fate. I'm not really sure about lin xiaoyan's situation since she's not a spiritual cultivator and only a ordinary person having supernatural powers, but I think her getting the police's help somewhat offset some of that karma from going to her directly, or it's her gift from heavenly dao itself so she doesn't have to bear all the karma herself. at this point I'm just rambling nonsense lols.
oh then if it's starch, you shouldn't have steamed it since you're going to end up cooking it. then again, it's not the same as sweet potatoes or just similar?
lol spoke too soon🤭
pyramid scheme lang ang peg?
First of all, I would like to address the other reviews about the first few(?) chapters consisting of only MC stockpiling, which is true, and I believe it's over 30+ chapters mostly talking about the food and materials MC bought and making pickled food and mostly about stocking and preserving food. tbf, I don't really feel much since the chapters are short and I can understand since it's the apocalypse and it's the only thing that matters and time was running out (let's be fr, if it's me, it would be the only thing I'll be doing). Also, her forgetting things to buy some essential things and only focusing on food and comfort, and having financial issues are real since we're humans. so yeah lol. Next is I want to say that this novel shows that the author is patriotic and it shows how he/she portrays the government in the novel, which differs from other apocalyptic novels I've read and this is one of the few with a government that's still standing despite how many years has passed. Also, despite the obvious patriotism, I like how realistic the novel portrays the initial stage of the apocalypse with how the government made thorough preparations after knowing the impending disaster. Even thought the power structure between the privileged and the poor is still present, it's not really that emphasized since it's still ok as long as the government is making moves to make sure the majority of people can still live and not abandon them to selfishly hoard for themselves (which is commendable). Anyway, I'll add more to this if I think of more to say, and that's it for now.
it must be the spring water lol. considering how it made the livestock aggressive and fierce after drinking it, it should also have some similar effect on humans.
why not just use grandpa Jing instead of Mr.?
