The black hole was no more, at least physically speaking now it was many tiny packets of data, an object of such a mass turned to nothing in a second. It had been scanned in all of its form then its very essence was turned to energy with its signature and stored in the form of information.

And he knew she was aware as well both were far too intelligent and not dense enough for this to not be noticed, love wasn't the right term, far from it at least for what it was but a sense of kinship with a budding affection developing toward this would be a more appropriate term.

It just didn't sit right with him but that unknown structure was a problem for later. He couldn't do everything at once, adding a potential space-faring alien civilization to the mix was a bit too much.
