I honestly like it. You do not want to know how many movies I've seen in which dangerous situations, kidnapping/hostages, etc., could have been prevented by open communication.
I know that many readers will not like me revealing Gwen's identity to her loved ones. But I will only say that she had Peter's example in front of her which helped her make this decision. Moreover, the lizard incident was also a major factor for this decision. - Hufflepuff_011mthCommented

I honestly don't understand why they would let her go on thinking her food is great. Really, that's anime-logic for you. If my friend was this horrible at cooking, I'd try to tell her that there was some room for improvement and give her a taste of what she just made. However, that might be because we agreed to be honest with each other whenever we've asked each others opinions.

Yeah this one. I loved her character, I didn't, however, like the fact she ended up joining the hunters from what I remember (been a while since I had time to reread these books).
2) Thalia Grace (between 1-2 years older than the MC) if we go by the original storyline where she still turns into a tree she would be between 1-2 years younger than the MC. - Hufflepuff_013mthCommented
