Greasy hair... I don't know if it's canon or fanfiction but I recall snape kept the greasy hair in remembrance of lily, the one who cursed him to have greasy hair. So I don't know what this says or if it's just over speculation on my part.

However, even though I said this, the reasons are still very flaky. Or rather, the introduction of a special magic isn't handled very well. At least it's not the worst but it definitely could have gone a little better without being so jarring.

While other people might have just as great of a will as he possesses but his will should be monstrously high for someone of his body age. I think that is what the ring was looking for. Otherwise, there are clearly other strong willed people.

I mean better safe than sorry. Heck, even in real world, I am so paranoid that at random moments, I just think of garbage or try not to think of anything cause I'm scared somebody can read my mind. Like this is a genuine fear of mine.

People really be stupid. One has to get lower tier to replace them with higher tier because higher tier can suppress the lower tier but since our Mc has asna who can even suppress the highest 7th tier, he has no limitations in choosing higher tiers.
