wait how is this a fanfiction I thought this was just an alt history novel with an absurdist plot regarding the leader of Germany, for this to be fan fiction would be for the entirety of the second world War to be fake, also I will say to me reading this is like reading those Chinese alt history books (it's an entire subgenre) where the protagonists become Stalin or someone in his circle during the soviet era, I've read a few of those like Red Moscow and that's why I find this interesting to elaborate, please do not lump me in with those that blindly idolize a austrian corporal who ate nothing but weeds and had only one ball or those who blindly idolize a Georgian guy who was brutally abused by his family and channeled that trauma to kill all his rivals that threatened his political position after Lenin died.

You could use this to make way more than a engine, you could make artillery from mortars and autocannons to a wide variety of firearms by manufacturing/ machining parts and assembling them as well as make ammunition like the casings and bullets minus the propellant or explosives. A vintage soviet mortar design from the 1970s copied and then made en masse in cyberpunk would be just as deadly as it was back during the cold war, and with Hansen coming and the chaos from that having artillery and gun manufacturing locally in night city is a big bargaining chip and status enhancer, he could make a company and sit in the city council...
