I think he means that he wants to have two different separate stat sets not double stats. Like one set as a physical damage dealer and one as a magic dealer or as a tank. Maybe he also means a different appearance/persona since he said he could be the hero or the demon lord?

The United States was not there to take a couple high tech weapons. At a minimum I would guess that a school FULL of geniuses would be capable of a couple new renewable fuel sources, and a couple of new agricultural methods or breakthroughs, a couple of new manufacturing methods and new building materials that are light weight and/or stronger than steel or daimond. All at a fraction of the cost of the old ways.
