Great. Another set of overly expensive and complicated spell workings that provide no additional utility beyond extremly basic combinations like Frozen mud… Like… the omi-elemental constuct is almost as complicated as making seperate constructs for each element… yet most combo’s where 2 kinds of mana and now its 3 kinds and its now even MORE expensive. This is a dud. A massive freaking dud.

Double Duh. Soul death does not even require magic, simply a corrupting influence on the mind - evolver is such an influence, slavery is another. Being a slave errodes you away freedom will never cure the damage of a life spent in fear and service - this is soul damage - no magic needed. Evolver chooses what emotions the MC can act on all the time, to assume its only cutting MC’s emotions when they ”go out of control” ignores the ”corrupting influence” of the mear existance of such a control. If you live in a cage, you feel it - it does not matter how big. This MC is very clearly a child to not instantly be fearful of evolver the moment it cut off their emotional responces.
