Yeah, this was a pretty big escalation for this girl to handle. As readers we know how the plot of this story goes, but before the big Zombie apocalypse this is a fairly law abiding and non violent society. Considering she got away with mostly just a scare and maybe some bruises, it seems unlikely she's going to leap at the chance to go on a killing spree.
Late bloomer indeed lol. Didn't hit puberty or have his first erection until he was 20 lol. Yeah, a normal "late bloomer" would still be by like, 14 or 15.
This is just such poor reasoning for abandoning her son. Why is the MC (author) making up such sad excuses for her? I'm not saying he needs to go track her down and get horrible revenge, but shit, what she did isn't ok and it's stupid that he's trying to rationalize it like he is. Being angry and maybe feeling contempt her is the normal and healthy thing to do in this situation. Rationalizing her decision like this makes it look like there's something seriously wrong with this guy. Then again, the author did say he would be a pretty morally twisted individual, so maybe him thinking this way makes some sense, since he would abandon someone in the same situation now?
If that's the explanation, it's a pretty weak one lol. I agree with him that she's probably not worth the effort of tracking down, and at least she left him with a good woman that has taken care of him. But if that's honestly why she abandoned him and ran off with a lover to make a new family, she's a pretty horrible mother (and human being).
How tall is this woman? Average height of women is 5.4 ft lol. Even if she's a little taller, it shouldn't make him seem short in comparison unless she's like, 6 ft or more...
He was an ungrateful prick, huh?
RIP. It was a good run, Gray. End of story. New story, starring golden armor in apocalypse world as it slowly gains sentience and searches for a purpose.
Yeah, he's gained stats, but he's delirious, has infected wounds, and has gone without food and water for a week. It's arguable he would be easier to kill now than a week ago.
Good thing he didn't spend his points yet. Probably easier to get points by surpassing your limits, when your limits are low.
First thing that pops up on google: As a general rule of thumb, a person can survive without water for about 3 days. However, some factors, such as how much water an individual body needs, and how it uses water, can affect this. Factors that may change how much water a person needs include: age. So yeah, most people would definitely not last a whole week without water. They'd be dead.
Weird name. Who would ever normally name their child, "Gray"? People don't normally name children after colors, except maybe "Violet", which is also a flower. Rather strange last name too lol. Sorry, but the name just screams, "Made up". Maybe if he was an aspiring movie star and legally changed his name to something he thought was cool, I'd buy it.
Once again, why didn't he just drive away? He's got a bulletproof car. Does he want to die?
If he's in a bulletproof car, wtf doesn't he just start it and drive away from this ambush? Why risk himself fighting these random hitmen? Wouldn't it be smarter to get a lawyer and and find out about the will, and why his elder brother is trying to kill them off? Then he can try and prove his elder brother killed the second brother.
He could say the same about the training of all the sects lol. Everyone in this novel seems to be crazy. Even the MC. I mean, he was suffering from multiple personality disorder at the start, sort of lol. Remembering past lives isn't exactly normal, or even sane by Earth standards. The psychiatrist's would just call you crazy ha ha.
Lol.
Does cultivating drive people bonkers over time, or do you need to be a little crazy in order to have the proper mindset to cultivate in the first place?
I'm sure we haven't seen the last of idiot boy Jin Fen lol. He'll probably show up to screw something up, while blaming Li Huang for all his troubles ha ha.
Yeah. Cai ZhenKang may be a monster, but Li Huang is a monster of monsters lol, considering he's half the age and already as good (arguably better since he just won their spar). Li Huang has been cultivating for close to a quarter of the time too. I forget when he started cultivating, but it's only been like 5 years, right? If ZhenKang is 30, and started somewhere around 10 years old, he'd have had 20 years to cultivate...
