Overly blown melodramatic nonsense. Short chapters and I couldn’t even last 30 chapters in though I tried to wait it out to see if it got better. The main character white lotus Mary Sue is completely unbelievable and unrelatable. The male main lead obviously likes rape and is very predictable—an overdone archetype for sure. The story should have a trigger warning for rape that the author seems to try to romanticize, but I think she/he must have a very old-school definition of consent. The children are also predictable and boring. There is little character development. It’s all plot armor and the most ridiculous and unbelievable conflict, behavior, and descriptions. I rolled my eyes so hard so many times, they are aching. Don’t waste your time. Save yourself the eye pain. I really have no idea how this story has such a high rating. I call BS.
