why does he care so much about the vale? what's with all these excessively complicated plots? he wants to uphold his image for the masses (green blow back)? he's going to piss off the masses with this 2nd wife crap anyway.

to short.. really recommend holding off on these tiny "chapters" and combining them with scene transitions. in a normal book a chapter is typically 2,000-4,000 words. These chapters aren't even 1,000 words... progression wise this Vale section has really dragged. the plot advancement rate has slowed relative to the amount of content (word count). Combined with the reduced chapter lengths has really made it feel like slogging through quick sand. nothing is happening and we get dribbled a single barely meaningful conversation/scene that's not even 1,000 words long.

Author, when you do scene breaks, system information etc.. can you please use less '-' '=' etc? You don't really need that many of them to denote a break/transition. For those of us that use audio feature it is extremely painful to hear "minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus minus " listen to a few sentences only to have it repeat again... and again...

exactly my point. If he was going to do all that why even have the internal dialogue and planning of remaining low key when at the first and every opportunity he's just going to bathe in the spotlight?

so he should of maxed rookie stats first (30) so he could develop faster
