How tf do 154 people fit in a 100m² cave?
Mc is arrogant? idk where you got that lol
It's generic with all the typical face slapping, arrogant young masters, number 1 cold beauty wife, background npc doubters and glazers etc. Everyone either praises him or treats him like a mortal enemy. This is peak wish fulfilment and power fantasy trip but in a clique generic way. The drama is dialed to a 1000 out of 10.
Definitely one of the best family type cultivation novels. Majority of the novel so far is about the Li family and their progress rather than the MC who is the ancestor. Dont get me wrong, MC is very involved in every step but he also isn't the main focus. Despite this, it isn't boring at all. The Li family have people with actual personalities and all embarking their own paths. Often it'll feel like everyone is the main character. I loved all the events/arcs so far and they genuinely made me root for the Li family and also feel waves of emotions. Overall, a very good novel. RIP Li Kuangtu, you were truly brave.
Let me guess, her family will think he isn't worthy and she'll get taken back to her family/sect 😒
I agree and that's kinda the point I was making. I don't agree with the op saying mc is being an ungrateful beta who thinks everyone is against him. Yes, that Wang guy clearly wanted to kill MC but realistically he wouldn't have succeeded anyway. I'm not saying her stepping in was useless, but she didn't make a trip all the way there to stop the fight. I know she had good intentions by telling him to leave, but it's also because he isn't talented enough to be with her. That's why in later chapters, she regrets cutting things off with him.
understandable he would be angry since he lost a promising disciple but he knows mc is telling the truth, even tells mc to lay low for a bit
just don't buy pizza with it lol
I agree it's a bit boring so far but I gotta point out a few things. 1. His cheat is to grow and farm all aquatic creatures, not simply fish. He has to nurture them and make sure they are mature before harvesting. They are living creatures with different requirements so it's not that easy. Even IRL fishkeeping isn't as easy as chucking in fish flakes and they all good. 2. It's a trade he has to do in person, he doesn't even know what the other person wanted. It's live goods as well. Who would he send anyways? 3. They weren't the only clan members that got attacked. 4. He isn't an artifact refiner, just has some theory knowledge. He also doesn't really have the resources or whatever tools needed. 5. He needs a diversity of sea creatures to have different harvests, he can't rely on basic carps forever.
A decent novel. Overall plot is ok for a wish-fufilment type novel but the flow of the novel and dialogues don't feel natural. the way characters interact feel forced. I feel like author is making MC an American and writing about America without being from there themselves, maybe I'm wrong. Novel gives off that vibe. The plot is pretty predictable, MC has an injured/ill mother, family isn't doing well financially and MC will use money to fix all of it. Any mistakes he made in his past life he'll fix or prevent it. He'll invest money into stocks and whatever he knows will make money, like investing in Amazon or Google. He'll buy whatever he wants since he's rich. He's also a genius at sports and seems to be developing a harem. The system itself just gives him money for doing a range of tasks like studying. Any negatives aside, I did enjoy the novel.
