Loved this book from the first page til the last one. Although it is not a perfect book, is close to it, the MCs have no real misunderstandings, they don't hate each other, the ML is actually not an ass to the FL and they are all very smart. The book heavily centers a lot in dialogs and thoughts, but due to this, the chars take action really quickly when it comes to the actual plot, making the book feel very fast paced. A huge part of it, is about only the two leads, how they overcome the obstacles, fall in love and defeat all enemies, with sprinkles of the sides characters, which is cool as you want to know what happens to the lead but can leave some side stories hanging for a long time, nothing too serious, but don't expect a lot of development on them. The enemies in this book are hard to describe, the MCs can be described as ruthless and "evil" they rarely leave enemies a way out, eliminating the treaths from the root to the best of their abilities. The FL is very smart, cunning, funny, narcissistic, strong, etc, but not allmighty which gives a sense of credibility as she is very young at the start of the book and is imposible to be allmighty. This is very different from other OP FL where is all about removing the vests, and more of a "weak" to strong type of FL where she is almost the villain of the story, "yes I'm bad so what can you do about it?" type of vibe. The ML is the ruthless, super smart, cold CEO forced to marry, but he actually treats his marriage seriously, he is the one choosing his wife which at the beginning even tho he believes he wants a cute, little obedient wife, he's extremely smart and quickly realizes that his wife is not all that he thought he wanted but finds himself liking her even more, wanting to discover more, trusting her with just one look and wanting nothing but spoil her more. Without too many spoilers the book is great, it only lacks in a few details towards the end or how the problems are solved, which makes me believe either it was intended the couple to be super lucky as things just work, or lazy writing.

This is a book that I loved and enjoyed reading but not exactly for the things it tried to sell from the intro. My favorite thing I must say, hands down, has to be the 2nd lead couple (D&M). They are everything I wished the Main Couple had, but at the same time it made me appreciate the differences between them. This is not a super complicated plot, the things that you expect to happen will actually not happen and they can be underwhelming (enemies/antagonists) but also fresh, sweet and enjoyable (side characters and romance overall). Must admit the book doesn't have a 100% coherence, but not as big as to have plot holes, just rough edges which on its own makes it a unique type of book. A bit disappointed with the tags on the book as whole enemy to lovers thing is pretty much not there, is like a day thing neither weak to strong as the FL completely stagnates and becomes almost hollowed kinda just there to love the ML ( one of the reasons I loved the 2nd couple so much more). Some characters will have dept while others are just there for one purpose and completely forgotten or removed after their "purpose" is served, which can be a bit weird, but removed many extra chars and "issues" the couple must overcome. Overall is a really sweet, romantic and sexy book, read it in 2 days and I would recommend it to someone looking for a short cool book.

In regards to the number 2, is not necessarily that she's cold to the ML, but that the translation is very censored, so most of the hugs, flirting, later on kisses, etc, are ommited making the interaction between them really odd. .

Something I don't understand is the focus of the minor thing. . He's the 3rd brother meaning that Lu Jin and Si Ming are still younger than him, so they're still minors and we never saw this topic being brought up... Is it only Mu Jun that cares? Are the other girls older? Or between minors is OK? Is not a big problem with the story just want to know why is it OK for some but not OK for others... Is it a personal trait of the character or just a gimmic of the story?

When I first read the preview of the story and the title of the book I was kind of hesitant to read the book, but oh cheezus was I surprised when I gave it a shot, the story is great, but nothing beats an OP FL with the best kind of ML, smart, powerful, and with great chemistry with the FL. Both characters know what they want and got get it, there are secrets between them but nothing that will cause awful misunderstandings, there is an annoying sister, but no obnoxious fiance/ex-boyfriend.
