Although it stays off a wee bit slow in comparison to where I am now, Its still a world easy to fall into. The world is well developed with its own rules an ways of life. The characters are solid and they don't normally stray from their character ideals. And the main character isn't just some frail girl in need of saving. She's smart and knows how to use her Knowledge to her advantage.
