he's not the first or only, most saw it but aren't willing to excuse it. any decisions made by the MC should be logical and backed by what he is aware of, not what the omniscient author or reader knows of. it sucks if you can't be a genius about it's applications. take a look at sukuna, gojo, hakari, zenim clan current head, kenjaku etc. the JJK peak users has shown how far it can be taken. don't forget it steams from negative emotions, too little and its slow too much and you waste ur reservoir of CE mana is too simple, even an idiot could use it. CE requires brilliance to pull off stuff like: binding vows, black flash, multiplying CE on itself to make reverse cursed energy, cursed technique reversal, reverse cursed technique, domain amplification, simple domain, hollow wicker basket, fallen blossom, domain expansion, open domain. are what I could think of right of the bat
