The power system(gifts) are not well defined or explored properly. One of the gifts doesn't even fit well with the medieval background. Story development is weak feels rushed, there's no thrill waiting for new chapter.

Good start, however a correction you should note in the op universe mermaids when they reach a certain age can change btwn tail and legs. Check the enies lobby arc for clarification
