It was troublesome, but it was an alert not to let Leon get ahead of himself. He obtained some crazy abilities, but he wasn't powerful. In the end, the job of killing the fish became quite a boring one. They were stupid and didn't have ranged attacks, so they could only die without being able to do anything. Unfortunately, almost every single one of them was taken away by the tide. Only the last one became Leon's lunch and dinner; despite that, he didn't drop his guard. His objective was to clean his clothes and wash his body, so he waited for a few minutes. He could also, you know, move the boat using earth manipulation.
In the end, the answer was to make everything thinner, but that was also dangerous because the thinner the boat, the frailer it would be. Leon thought that in a month or two, he would have the skills to leave the island. However, he couldn't be more wrong. He needed to make the boat sturdy but light enough for a single blast of wind to make it move several meters at a decent speed. That only meant one thing, Leon had to train his skills even more until he reaches that level of mastery. It looked like he wouldn't eat anything but blue angel leaves for a while. The problem with that is that in order to use a spear, effectively that is, he would have to get in the water for an extended period of time to aim. Plus, he has yet to soo one in action, what if they can move fast enough to nibble on his ankles?
