He's not going to freak out, but I still want to limit him so he isn't just constantly absorbing powers. My plan is that he will want to gain control of his chimera form, since his powers are actually stronger in that form, but the more power he absorbs the less control he has so he as to make sure after each power he works on his control again. It will slow him down somewhat and make him stronger at the same time.

Honestly, that's basically what happened with Kevin. Before he was just someone who used his power for his benefit, but he wasn't outright evil until he absorbed the Omnitrix a couple times. Then he wanted to crash a train and kill people.

Fair view point, I wanted the team dynamic to change because of it. Everyone is starting to look to Casper for leadership instead of Scott and it's going to blow up. As well, there are parallels between a lot of members, like Laura and Conner both being clones, Kurt and Miss Martian having different appearances and using methods to appear normal in public, Scott and Aqualad being serious leaders. I wanted to use the comparisons to develop the characters.

I'll say it now, if you guys don't like this I'll rewrite the ending of the chapter. If you read the original you will remember that Rogue and Kevin ended up in the Arrowverse for 2 chapters. I think the idea was good, but I executed it really poorly. He basically appeared, took a power and then I rushed through the crossover. Instead, what I wanted to do was use the short dimension hop as a way to develop the team's relationships. The MC is powerful, but instantaneous teleportation is still something he can't deal with without being prepared. He has a way to react to it, but he has to know it's coming. The reason I had everyone go is that I think it fits well having the X-Men meet Young Justice.
