What advice i can give is other than interludes if its not advancing the plot dont do it Anyway dont overthinking this, nice story that i will follow overall,i'm commenting to increased your work activity so it can have more readers,more readers means your more motivated to not drop the story and continuing this..,

Beware that the MC looks like chinese fanfic MC My opinion is that while xiaogang did tries to experiment on MC but he still doing it harmlessly MC reaction seems to be Exaggarated he can just ignore xiaogang, pretending to agree, times spent paying that 'debt' can be spent for self improvement

I'm guessing its translation from all the wrong nouns and adjective used, some word that dont fit in the sentence or missing But... A great story overall
