I am surprised that Adrienne has not revealed all her knowledge. She knows that the fae were responsible for Jian's mom death, that all alone should merit an immediate conquest instead of upholding a "friendly" relationship thus far. a part of me was excited when I thought the 'deed' was going to happen between Veah and Jian... but then, I felt it was unfair to Xenon, whose been in the front of the line for so long. She needs to clarify her relationship with him, I really don't want him feeling inferior or like a third wheel. I am glad Jian is being so honest with her about his past and his feelings because he's building up trust and good communication.

those attacks when he entered were called for...but I'm glad they are mature enough to sit by each other and discuss their bonds. I really hope Jian understands that Xenon will always hold a special place for Veah, that Veah's bite was more than just saving him from insanity. I don't want to play team Edward and Jacob (twilight) here, I hope both are willing to allow each other to stay by her equally.
