For the most part of the novel Fang Yuan is merely a Grandmaster at blood path, Plus, he only inherited one of the 3 Main inheritances of Blood Sea Ancestor, also, it’s not like new methods can’t be invented by Gu Masters of the same path. It doesn’t apply only this Gu itself, but to some Illusion Path Gu, since there’s so little written about it in the novel’s wiki, I wanted to add a twist to it.
