I believe it to be something different. MC will meet an unstoppable force a basic preset where the villain is the MC except this time. Have you read that chinese genre that exploded? Villain always wins because they have the knowledge. Except this knowledge is 50% useless for one simple reason. Different universe leading to major differences in characters, actions and the power scaling. Cinder, right now, only knows her enemies and what the potential future holds like killing a maiden, etc. What she doesn't know is the power MC has, and the major players that exist. TLDR: I could have made this into a saltedfish novel with MC finishing the entire plot in 20 chapters or the MC swimming in a confusing power vaccuum never getting better. You can judge me, sure.
This story will feature quite a bit of AU material, because of the interference of few certain characters. I'll refrain from adding OCs that will take up a lot of screen time because RWBY has too many characters already. That way, I'll either utilize the forgotten characters or will stick to a few. Some disappointing Grimm will become enhanced according to their lore (If they lacked some of its abilities) or the SCP foundation equivalent New possible Grimm will be based on SCP foundation lore and Mythology (Suggestions are acceptable) The story has a rough outline, but there is a wiggle room. Female lead is chosen, BUT it might change if it feels too forced. Intelligence of characters is enhanced to the best of my abilities. If some characters act stupid or out of line, please point it out. Very few elements from the Pokeverse will be carried over, but their weight and importance will be high
He ain't leaving his cooking business would go under...
Cities gonna be invaded by Grimm every day forever now 😭😭
How is this being a 'normal' kid
But yeah thank you for the reminder. Your comment made me realise that I didn't explore the world too deeply yet after the reset and the major things that changed. Which I believe is a pretty big blunder as many things ought to change while some things would not.
uuuh I thought it was fairly obvious, but he does know where he is (I guess I didn't explain it clearly, but I believe that in earlier chapters he did find out that he didn't get transported anywhere else i.e. he is in the exact same place because he literally cannot move) + His definitive appearance kind of uhh is in process of being built by himself and the things he finds? If I set a basic appearance of the spirit then I'd have to change it every chapter he upgrades it / molds it to suit the enemies better. It's literal playdough that he will work with, BUT he didn't even deploy it and no one else knows of its existence. I don't want to just fill word count like that and if you or anyone else feels like I am doing that please point it out. If you are talking about the human side, then I still have some plans that will get cleared up after the plot progresses further, including his definitive human appearance and the entire backstory (which got half explained in an earlier chapter)
I've been thinking about either rewriting it or going through another whole angle just can't quite get my body to do it. RWBY itself is based on cool visual fights so I wanna make the story good enough to be read well. So, I keep thinking about it xp
Because supernatural didn't exist in the first era. At all. I am pretty sure I put a few mentions of it during the first era. I thank you for your review and hope that after you read the second era then you'll like it more. The reason for the first era that it seemed rushed is that there wasn't anything to offer. MC himself knew about the world and random explanations of technology would be just filler. Humans also couldn't give him any substantial help due to their limited lifespan.
I'll be shameless. After 30 chapters, I see where the novel will be heading. Do not expect MC to be op quickly or that he has a system. Instead, he explores everything by himself. No established cultivation realms or magical cores and spells. Everything depends on him alone. He's not outright stupid, but he has his flaws, like not predicting every danger or creating and inventing things out of thin air. He'll feel pain, he will suffer, but he always will have a fighting chance. If you are interested I hope you'll check out the novel. Ideas of improvement, tips, tricks, ideas and thoughts in the development of this novel are welcome.
