5/5 ⭐ — One of the best Reverend Insanity fanfics I’ve come across This is honestly one of the rare RI fanfics that actually understands what makes the original so good. The biggest strength is the MC’s steady and believable growth. He isn’t ridiculously overpowered from the beginning, and his cheat doesn’t simply hand him victories. Instead, he has to think, plan, adapt, and make the most out of what he has. The Copy System is an interesting concept, especially because of its restrictions. I can understand why some readers may find the limitations frustrating, but personally I think they make the story more interesting. A completely broken system would take away the tension, while the current setup forces the MC to rely on his own intelligence. What I especially like is that the MC doesn’t feel like some random outsider who suddenly becomes Fang Yuan 2.0. He has his own personality and circumstances, while still fitting naturally into the brutal world of RI. His schemes and decisions actually feel earned rather than being solved by an overpowered cheat. The author also clearly has a good understanding of Reverend Insanity’s world-building and lore, which makes the setting feel much more authentic. The writing is good, and although the pacing can be slow at times and there is occasionally more information than necessary, the overall quality makes it worth continuing. If you enjoy Reverend Insanity, intelligent protagonists, cultivation, schemes, morally grey characters, and systems that don’t simply make the MC invincible, this is definitely worth giving a chance. Keep cooking, author. This has serious potential. 🔥
