If you know how Fang Yuan, MC of Reverend Insanity, treat anyone... Even if you don't do anything, he might find trouble with you!
Zhang YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! đ€
We must be fated I forgot the exact name, but just search Rika Chuunibyou Romcom and you'll find it. No need to thank me, your belief in my words is enough
Oh okay I get your point, I'm used to sci-fi technobabble that I didn't think about it xD. A discord or something would be nice so that we could address these holes.
I see the potential and think it is worth you trying it. It has not only entertained my interest, but it also hooked me - who has read 30,000+ chapters of novels, comics+200hours of shows - because it felt quite fresh and a properly written, defined, complete book [img=recommend]. And the stars I have given are not cheap, as this story really deserves recognition. So I will talk about this while in the most honest way I can express myself : It's a little rough at the start but the writing definitely improves. The story is proceeding in a defined direction, the events have a cause and effect at the same time veeery entertaining, while the characters feel like real people and intrigue me as well as make me invest in them- all of these make me invested in it. Grammar is relatively proper and only has minor typos, but definitely not a problem mind you. The power system is mature and definitely a positive point of the story. Regarding the protagonist, he is not evil nor good and not as simple as he presents himself to the other characters, and to us the readers. We will slowly unveil his past, the mystery of his origins, his relationships, and the future that he hopes to achieve by fighting against "Them". I welcome you to read it because while it is the author's first book, it is pretty great for the first novel for me and I enjoyed the story regardless of any criticism I had. It has kept me and my picky tastes. The updates are constant and applaudable too. For the author, good job and just maintain the story on it's upwards cycle! Keep it up! For other reviewers, read enough chapters first before giving a review so you can give an accurate opinion even if you disagree, and please don't impose expectations of other books onto this, as those and this are totally different. Try to see it for what it really is. Also. Don't! Spam! - It buries helpful and real opinions.
Heyo author! I just realized another things I should have asked. Maybe I did not read it correctly though: How did Lucius get his I.D back? From Reyna? And how did Olivia get her I.D back? Did she not notice it every time she attended classes? If I remember it correctly, they did not meet during the timeframe Lucius got his I.D back. Also, it's not important in the story anymore, but wouldn't modern technology and even scent tracking devices/dog trackers (possibly) find the clothes hidden in the tree? Also, you can create your own discord for your books! Well, only if you'd like to. Devil_Paragon the author of Profane Prince and Nine Venoms Sect has one and it's pretty cool. If you do make one - and I'm not pressuring you đ đ - I'll be sure to join!
Soooo, emotionally rampaging Ruby? Sounds like Jake, I'm sure it's similar to Jake, yep, pretty much what happened to Jake. Oh, did I say Jake? đ I can't count how many times he transformed: Showing his sharp fangs, his golden-silver eyes surfacing, his claws elongating, crushing the enemy using telekinesis during his outbursts - and also being a terminator whenever he gets close to Flintium (reverse kryptonite). Oh, and fighting fucking megalodons, bullet-speed vultures, and killing murder-machine aliens. Knowing this, I don't really understand why the hate for Jake not killing Lu Yan. She's a bitch? Yes. Is she useful? Yes. Is she a threat to Jake? No. Is she helpless and terrified against Jake? Yes. Look at him being teammates with Sarah despite some of his bad impressions; he treats his companions the same as random teammates you get at fps multiplayers. Some are just useless (the koala things), He gets cooperative with only few of them, so why would he refuse free labor he has no qualms in using?
The gap moe is hot, that's why
You ambiguous peach(ass)man you!
It's because of the damn expectations we have hahaha
Jake himself is pretty vicious. He's only antisocial but also silly so he did not talk the way Ruby did. Sarah developed a vicious side too but she's still likable, although not fully likable.
Cool, thanks for explaining it! So that's actually how you do it. I never really thought about how author's struggle with details - thinking "Oh, it's all planned out in just like a single notepad fike". What a simple but large misconception. 1000 chapters have really spoiled me but I do relate not remembering much. Each time, rereading pretty much feels like a new experience for the long and top quality ones. Heck, I can remember sentimental emotions, strong impressions I had and important details, but certainly not the dense wrting even if it's amazing. I'm also pretty similar in thinking that there's not enough good webnovels to read (or much of it are so goddamn inconsistent throughout it's run or just so hard to find). One thing led to another then *poof* I discovered my imagination taking off in writing. I have read many novels but I probably get to reading sci-fi's and getting my facts consistent as I haven't gone much reading in-depth like you did hahaha.
Honestly, I find it more refreshing for the mc to shine, but not only him. Think of real life, how many fields only have one sole genius? Only having the protagonist overpowered is a pitfall most webnovels fall into. Advantages are nice, but when power-ups and frequent 'I'm a special snowflake' events occur it gets stale, reallll fast. Plus, that's the heroine who is foreshadowed to be special anyway. Jake himself is a walking cheat - who else gets once in a lifetime training (through his efforts), and getting close to important people and npcs - maybe Ruby. How about solely discovering Digestors, some very disturbing oracle secrets + life changing rewards? Not even Ruby Hale can compare. See, not only Jake has sporadic but amazing luck, he also has cockroach tenacity, and he just keeps on developing to the peak of all humans out there with unlimited potential in his bloodline.
Must be hard Ark to satisfy picky readers flocking to your book. Needless to say, this is one of the finest webnovels I have read. Before anyone thinks "Who is this flying fauck acting all self-important?! ", I can back my own opinion by having read 30,000+ chapters of webnovels and many more eastern comics of around two thousands and up chapters. (also this account is a new one without much on it) The start does not fully reflect it's strengths nor does it seek to simply self-gratify - it's more than that. Not only do I see gold in the storyline, but also by looking at the obvious effort, research, consideration, and time spent on making this story wonderfully interesting. Most stories have stopped challenging my vocabulary, until I felt it here again like I did reading quality hardbooks. And not as much of popular webnovels have done the weak to strong evolution + system and episodic trials + action + apocalyptic + sci-fi with great characters and diverse aliens (one of my favorite parts) as this did. I have to say, keep writing as good as you have and I love the writing and story so much - I am only regretful Covid has made finances tight, guhh...!

(Damn I made a review, guess I'll make one lmao) I gotta ask though Ark, how much time was spent on research, reading, referencing, finding inspirations, planning and coming up with ideas then detailing it? etc. It's a personal question so it's okay if not, and estimate is fine too :)
Let me clarify though - because I am horrified if I negatively impacted your mindsetđ± and your plans for the story - that I can accept tragedy or sad stuff if it is done in a sad, dark reality and well executed way, just like how it was in RI and TTNH (even in LoTM and MHoH, and also the approach of 'this is the grey reality' yet somehow balanced with other aspects like comedy persent in stuff like Legendary Mechanic and CCC). Most stories just made me drop because it made me mad for the stupid adding. Again, my words are only a reference âșïžđ
