Get well soon, and I liked the story, so thank you, author. It's fanfiction, not even a novel you can monetize. Write what you like and how you want; you shouldn't worry about the readers (it's not like they're paying you to write, haha). Write what you like: harem, yaoi, war, reverse harem, fantasy, NTR, political, non-romance, kingdombuilding, isekai, etc... the story is for you; it's fanfiction. I wish you all the best, and I hope you get over your depression.

You know, I think Vali will end up being the Queen... Issei cost 8 pawns for his Longinus... Vali has an equivalent Longinus (both Longinus are "equal" in power) and also her demonic heritage (like a blood Lucifer). And a Queen is worth 9 pawns, right?

Just a mistake, there is no such thing as the Kusakage... it's the Leader of Kusagakure. Only the five great villages can truly hold the title of Kage. It's a bit like proclaiming oneself an Empire... few European countries were able to do so (and they had to have legal grounds to do so... the Germans and Austrians proclaimed themselves heirs to the Holy Roman Empire of the West, the Russians proclaimed themselves legitimate heirs (they married a Byzantine princess), and the Ottomans proclaimed themselves heirs by conquest (Constantinople) to the Eastern Roman Empire, the British proclaimed themselves an empire as heirs by conquest to the Mughal/Indian Empire, and the French—before abolishing their empire and becoming a republic—due to Napoleon, who conquered half of Europe). What I mean is, even the historical "powers" had to meet two conditions: be a great power and have a valid claim to call themselves Empires (and the British claim to call themselves an Empire by crowning their kings Emperors of India was highly questioned—Europeans valued the Roman claim—and it was only accepted grudgingly because they were the dominant power of their time). I suppose it's similar in the world of Naruto. To call itself Kage, a ninja village would need to possess the power of a great village, and probably a tailed beast or something similar. Calling itself Kage could lead to invasions, as it would be seen as a challenge... just consider that in the meetings of the Land of Iron, only five villages are invited, and the rest are subject to the outcome of that diplomatic meeting (a bit like the smaller European countries were under the orders/agreements of the great powers under the Vienna Convention).

I wonder what Naobito thinks about the Zenin succession... If he can't get Megumi... ideally it would be Naoya, but since she's a woman, it would be best if she were married (probably a young and promising Zenin, Ranta? Although perhaps Naoya is ignored in the succession, and Ranta is chosen, who would be married to Naoya. Succession from father to son-in-law, an "adopted son through marriage," is common in Japan).

I'm just looking forward to seeing the culture clash between the Avari elves who have their faith in Cuivorn (and their own customs) and the elves who follow the Maiar/Eru and were partly culturally assimilated by the Maiar through living with them.

Honestly, if I were Daeron II, I would have already betrothed Aenys to one of Maekar's daughters. The truth is, his grandson has a dragon, and it's best to prevent Aenys from marrying into an ambitious family. Because if Aenys marries into a powerful house, even if he doesn't want the throne, his in-laws would want to make their daughter Queen, and they could force Aenys's hand. I'm not saying Aenys should be forced to marry one of his cousins, but an engagement as a shield (which can be broken later) is better than suffering the political spotlight of most of the Westerosi nobility's ambitions. Of course, Aenys is still very young, and if Baelor has a daughter... that would be the ideal option.

Danzo... you're an idiot, Kakashi, Pakura, and someone almost on par with Minato? Underestimating the enemy is a mistake, especially if you could lose your right-hand man (Ryoma).

I think it's a good story; I find the external intrigues (mainly British) more entertaining. Then I start wondering how long until 1914, and who Alexei's fiancée will be.
