... didn't he want to do it on his own and chose to not leverage his family?
I get that this is just a plot point, but it's so stupid. This ore that is important to a master level designer is just treated as junk because he doesn't understand it immediately...
mid 20s is far from too young for a good beard... though I have some buddies in their 30s that can't get a good beard going still...
to be fair, the cat did likely save his life during the pirate attack...
Yup, thanks for the cat food.
this is finally showing a bit more on where the MC is ahead of the curve with his higher mechanics skill
this is super interesting, I had no idea!
I mean, if the knife is still hot from whatever melted it, then yes, the butter doesn't stand a chance.
if my own clothes could abduct me, I think I'd have to choose being a walker...
you mean too much awesome to process
I'm pretty sure the family kind of offered its direct support, but he turned them down as he wanted to do it completely on his own.
At least the excessive time is acknowledged by the author. Some authors have a challenge with math and somehow something that should take way more than a single day is crammed into less than one day.
If 1/3 of the 150 contestants were disqualified, that leaves 100 mechs for one person to test. The acclimation time of 5 minutes per mech is a little over 8 hours. That's on top of the 12 hours the contestants have already spent. That is a long day...
Not exactly a healthy mindset if this was on an actual battlefield
Is the average life span of people longer after the apocalypse? The MC mentions that his grandparents didn't complete their quests, which could work out if just 100 years (though would still be a solid stretch). However, he'd need to be a lot further along than the 3rd generation since the apocalypse began if it's been the equivalent of 200 years instead.
