101 Ways to Die (BL)
Full Title: 101 Ways to Die: The Depressed Young Master Wants to Quit This Cliché World!
He was a hikikomori who had long since stopped expecting anything from life.
Rejected by his family, constantly compared to his successful older sister, and convinced that his existence was nothing more than an inconvenience, he had only one goal left:
To disappear.
Then, one day, he fell...
…and woke up in a fantasy world.
Unfortunately, being reincarnated into another world didn't magically fix his life.
Instead, he found himself trapped in the body of a sickly young master from a poor baron's family, living in a house that was barely standing, with a father who apparently considered selling him off to an old nobleman a perfectly reasonable financial solution.
And that's when he realized—
This world was a cliché.
Nobles.
Academies.
Scheming families.
Beautiful ladies.
Ridiculous coincidences.
Secret identities.
And probably a few overpowered protagonists waiting somewhere in the background.
As an otaku who has read and watched enough stories to recognize the warning signs, he decides there is only one sensible course of action:
Find a way out of the plot. Permanently. Unfortunately, every attempt to escape his miserable fate somehow goes spectacularly wrong.
Instead of dying, he gains friends.
Instead of being hated, people start caring about him.
Instead of disappearing, he somehow becomes increasingly difficult to get rid of.
And then there's that mysterious noble lady (?) at the academy.
Golden hair.
Bright blue eyes.
A strange obsession with crooked heart-shaped cookies.
For some reason, whenever the young master talks about leaving this world, that person looks increasingly irritated.
“Why are you so determined to die?”
“Because this world is ridiculous.”
“Then stay.”
“…Why?”
“Because I said so.”
What the young master doesn't know is that the person standing beside him isn't quite who she claims to be.
But as the young master's list of 101 ways to die slowly turns into a list of reasons to stay alive, one question remains:
What happens when the person who wants to disappear becomes the one person someone else refuses to lose?
