A crystal is a piece that is attached to a person's arm and fueled by a fission/fusion nuclear reactor on the shoulder. The crystals have a link to the brain of the user which allows the user to control the crystals.

The crystals allow the manipulation of energy and molecules. It's easy for him to fly as he is a crystal user.

Did not think a lot about robots but it could be an interesting idea yeah. But things will soon get weird after the 1st chapter, this book is not entirely about the war, it's more focused around Mike. I'll make a dedicated book on the war in detail in the future.
