Devil_Hex14hReplied to gaurav_Kumar_1424Not exactly a deterrent. It's more of a motivator. You feel like - So many people are paying to read my work. I have to do the best I can in every chapter. Every time you get a notification, you remember that hundreds of people are waiting enthusiastically the next chapter. It helps me keep going and has especially been a great help in breaking through any writer's block. Of course, the financial aspect is very helpful as well. Not having to worry about something going wrong at work relieves a lot of pressure, which in turn creates great environment for writing freely. Also, earning from something you love doing is a great motivator :)

I've said it several times. 1.5k words a day is my limit. Considering the recent delays, you can see that I'm struggling to maintain this as well. Any higher is not feasible for me to do so.
