Hey, great Story so far and I must say i really Like the Setting, but If you Put a Tag with Star Wars in ether the description or the the Tags you would get alot more Readers as many people are searching for a good Story in Said universe.

Shield is the way to go. As he already has a great way of dishing out damage with his magic now he needs a way to protect himself and another way to deal damage.

Your story is actually a good one. For me you managed to give your Characters dimensions to which I as a normal person can relate to. Which makes it much easier to understand and relate to the actions and decisions the Character takes. Till now the bit of stupidity of the Mc gave him more personality which makes him seem more like a real person not like the idea of somebody. I also liked the POV's of the Mc's friend it gave the Universe much more background and enriched it in a good way. If you have more Ideas about such a POV than just write it and post it. And don't you dare to drop the story just because of a few snops who like to hate every story that not proceeding the way they like it. Your story is great the way it is now and for me it's one of the best Fan Fiction I've recently found on this platform. My best wishes to you and continue the good work.

Take your time with the Story if it takes 30 Chapters for you to prepare everything for the Story then do it that way. 👍
