Oh boi, I pray for whoever negotiates with Toho. They should be looking into expanding their influence into the western market, maybe Ricky could nab that deal for his studios.
'Takeshi's Castle'... funny how things have a way of working themselves out I guess. I mean, sharing the Golden Lion Award with GWH should've easily created a minor Barbenheimer effect for Hana-Bi to be this commercially successful in the west.

Better than the OG actor lol. Tho I don't believe people will see the beauty of Speed Racer until far after it is released. Ya know what else 2008 reminds me of? Dragonball Evolution, The Last Airbender, and that Journey to the West movie with Jackie Chan, and Jet Li... 2008 was such a rollercoaster lol.
