I feel like those mana stones have a deep meaning I specially have 2 theories about them: 1-they are empowering a magical barrier hence the existence of the one star sewer lizard as the protector from the smaller magical beast 2-the more likely they were erected by the black organization for a future plan in the silver kingdom and they killed the one star sewer lizard to protect them hence they didn't take them. Let's wait and see what the future reserve ;]

Author I think you have misunderstood the meaning of word "their", it's used to refer to persons not places like for example : their thought, their feelings ... The word used to refer to places is "there" like : in the cave, there was tons of mana stones ^^ Hope this little bit will be useful to you
