Not in the context of the story. Dirty play on real life goes to cheating. Like using mods, etc. That's not what it is in the context of this story, since that kind of conduct would get a pro player banned.
That's on average. While there are exceptions that stay at the top of their game for 4-8 years, it sounds like the average, common pro only stays in the scene 3-5 years. It's about time for the Golden Generation to start declining. And ZZ is only 1 year beyond that. ZZ also seems like he has a style that's pretty hard on his hands.
I mean, you're not wrong, but they're talking about between equals. All Star vs. All Star. Not God vs Rookie.
I respectfully disagree. In that case, you lose to Mysterious Fantasy. Not Trader. You don't set your team up to be in a must-win fight against your hardest opponent in the group. That's just adding unnecessary risk.
Seriously, what possible reason could he have had not to be in the team competition? It was the most important team match of the group! It would have even been better to lose to Mysterious Fantasy than this team!I'm just going to assume he had explosive diarrhea and was too embarrassed to tell the team. đ©
Yeah, she's be a great get, even if she's on the decline. And that way Old Wei can get a smoking buddy. đ
Agreed. But worse skill points, by and large.
That's a fair point, but that's what deals and negotiation are for. I'm sure Happy could sweeten any deal with some silver equipment or materials. Plus, at some point, you need to take a chance on talented rookies to do a team rebuild. You get that all the time in professional sports with first round picks and all of that. Teams can be very mercenary in trading away an aging star for new talent.
Liar. He had a ton of alt accounts.
Good luck with that. đ€Ł
That's a good point.
You're reading too much into word choice. That said, I disagree. If YX had met a random person with money, you get another Excellent Era, at best, if they were even willing to give him a chance given his age. The team owners treat them as businesses. You wouldn't get someone like Chen Guo, who puts her livelihood at risk to support her second favorite pro, and gives YX basically full autonomy and decision-making authority without thinking about profits and losses.
Nah, he would have been wrekt.
He is such a good kid!
Nah, America has its own problems, but they don't have a might makes right mentality. It's more of a certainty that they're right and moral. That combined with an overwhelming faith in capitalism by half the population. China likes to pretend it's a pure meritocratic technocracy. I.e., those with power can rise to the top, and that's right.
Honestly, it would have likely made more sense to get a spellblade since there seem to be more of them around. That would also fill the role. But it all turns out okay in the end, so it's fine.
That makes sense, but only if you have someone in mind that you're likely able to get, who's good enough to need a God level account. Without that, it's just a really risky investment.
