Mhmm, it would be something like that
They're fairly heavily influenced by the rest of the Stormfront. They still have to at least pretend to be straight-laced nobility. But they still adhere to their old ways, their old traditions and their old Goddess in the quiet of their own lands. They prize naturalness above the likes of grand stone civilizations, and in prizing naturalness, they hold different things strongly like strength and speed, the sorts of things they'd see in the creatures of the forest. So in naming a child they think of two things. They'd first likely look to nature for inspiration, and then they'd consider whether it would be acceptable by the standards of the rest of Stormfront nobility. For them the feeling of the name is more important than anything else. Germanicus carries with it a feeling of size, and strength and a certain bear-like nature. But similarly something like Orbius might be used to describe a child who seems especially well-sighted, like an owl.
Ahhh, wait. You already caught up to the first Germanicus bit that I was thinking of
Naming conventions as in what they call their different officers in the military? Or like how they name their children? There is a fair amount on the Treeants in some of the more recent chapters that I've released though. They might be able to scratch your itch a bit when you read them.
Just managed to catch up with the corrections that you left, thanks for those, it's really helpful!!
Thanks for pointing that out, it's been corrected now :)
Ah, thanks for pointing it out. That's going to be an annoying one to fix, cos Webnovel won't let me do a lower word count. Gonna have to leave it as one super long chapter and update the ones after it bit by bit
Srryyyy, been a bigggg busy spell over the last few weeks. Gonna catch up now!! :)
Thanks very much for the review, glad you're enjoying it!!
