I think that long shi and linxi have decided that whoever loses in their fight will intentionally lose against ZX. Also, as linxi is fighting with her craving for freedom and kong shi is with compassion, i believe that kong shi threw this match,

Fake news, I like these alternate povs! for me, it gives more 'depth?' to them and makes them feel less like useless eye candy that just brings unnecessary trouble for the mc just cus he wants to get laid. Also, more faceslapping :)
