Maybe his power does more than just ignore laws and can be very accurate and clear-cut about the desired effects...or I just forgot the specifics of his power, It's been a while.

But that's just me, your story is solid; I'm enjoying it and very much looking forward to the world building.

I don't think It's based on anything, It's an original. It draws inspiration from a genre of novels that have a villain who is supposed to be a stepping stone to the protagonist, but gets a "villain" system to change their destiny and come out on top at the expense of the original protagonist usually by taking their opportunities, heroines, ect...

Still, will destiny just watch back as Keith slaughters their children? I'm sure It has a purpose for them, so is Keiths system gonna protect him or...

Well, Keith is a miracle doctor plus knows a lot of secrets, so the fact that she can cultivate is a testament to his ability, not her unutilised talent, if she has any, plus don't forget about the standard of his harem, not to mention the trouble of Qingyue. What I'm trying to say is that she isn't worth it, and to be honest, why bother? She's like forty something, married, and actually looks her age since she isn't an aurror(maybe Keith will help boost her looks) and can barely hope to cultivate and is the mother of his very important lover, and this is more of a personal point but she isn't even a virgin. The only way I see this being logical is if Keith develops feelings towards her.

I hope Celine won't be part of Keith's harem. She's a middle aged wife with no cultivation talent, who's only remarkable trait is her painting prowess, she isn't a good investment but is a liability since her being Qingyue's mother only creates unnecessary trouble.
