Technically, I was meant to bathe naked, and the attendants were supposed not to look, but it had long been Thranduil's habit to bathe with a towel covering his nakedness so that the attendants could finish quickly. As always, they didn't say anything, complying with my unspoken wishes, and got to work. Once in the water I simply laid back in the tub and looked out of a skylight embedded in the domed ceiling above. With glowing red eyes, Ambrosius blasts them all to nothingness before flying next to Azula and Scáthach. - A_Lost_Broom1mthCommentedAt this point, Emiya was frankly just spewing whatever random 'inspirational' gibberish that came to mind in the hopes that it would finally get Ren to stop pestering him throughout every day at school, and instead make the boy focus on something else. He tried his best to channel the essence of a certain fake priest, but immediately abandoned that tactic after growing disgusted by his own thought process.

I like Gurren more but I fully agree here.

Ew. That is way too edgy and doesn’t even make sense or fit the tone of the story.

It almost feels like you’re hesitant to make a serious moment actually serious. I just hope this trend doesn’t continue, or worse, become like marvel where there aren’t allowed to be serious moments.

Man, slapstick really doesn’t fit the vibe of this story. I know it’s meant to come across as funny and break the tension but it just feels jarring and a little demeaning.

Shouldn’t Brock be older since the minimum age for a journey is 15?
As he walked, his thoughts turned to Brock himself. Emmet felt a sense of pity for the gym leader, whose father Flint had abandoned him and his nine siblings, forcing Brock to take on the responsibilities of both the Gym and his family. Emmet tried to imagine himself in Brock's shoes—stepping up to manage a gym at the tender age of 15. Even with EM training under his belt, the thought was overwhelming. Rather, it serves as a massive amplifier for his capacity to improve. In essence, EM makes him "super efficient," transforming what would normally take dozens of hours of effort into results achievable in just one hour. I like this story for the most part, but can I just say how much I hate how reactionary Harry is? His stated main motivation is survival, so why is he purely reacting to threats and not acting to make sure that said threats can’t hurt him. For example, he mostly believes that this year there won’t be any major threats towards him, so why is he resting on his laurels instead of working even harder when there is nothing that needs to be done urgently?
He didn't like being uncertain. It was a puzzle, which was something he loved solving, but it was too personal for comfort. He decided to just wait and see. - A_Lost_Broom5mthCommented
I personally would like it if they became frenemies/ rivals. I think it would be nice if he had some mostly friendly competition that really pushed him.
Before any of you say anything, Harry and Neville aren't going to suddenly become the best of friends. Neville feels alone and betrayed by his friends, and decides to mature (There's also something special that I'm planning this year that needed this), and Harry just feels guilty about the impact of his gaslighting Neville. They would be friendly acquaintances at best, and Harry's guilt would be a driving factor in their relationship (Which never really works out well when that's the basis of anything). The idea is that they would both be starting over. It's essentially character development on Neville's part because of the trauma of losing his friends and realizing that the identity he built himself is a lie. - A_Lost_Broom5mthReplied to I_Am_YourDadThe little girl hung from Ai's neck. She has fully evolved into a pathetically spoiled fan of this idol, whom she loves to call Mama. I was literally just thinking that! To Martina her genre is shoujo and Axel is her ML, and he fits! A brooding bad boy who is a secret prince with a tragic backstory. We follow Axel so we don’t see it this way, but everyone is the protagonist of their own life so they have wildly different genres. Martina’s just happens to be shoujo.
Then this year, she first risked her life to kill the Basilisk, and then helped him out with the Demogorgon. She also went out of way to help out Luna, a complete stranger, even calling in her favor with him. She made so many weapons but never used them, even though using them could let her family dominate their enemies. She'd rather agree to marry someone like Maksmilian than choose violence. - A_Lost_Broom6mthReplied to ultrahiIn actuality, he felt no remorse for the lives he had harvested just now. Any normal person in his place, one who has people whom they can 100% trust, wouldn't have been able to even look at the scene without feeling disgusted, let alone actually committing it. So, it makes him wonder….does he actually deserve to have people caring about him?
