It's actually the exact opposite. O can donate to anyone, not receive. It can only receive O. AB can receive all types and A and B can each receive themselves and O. All + types can receive + or - blood, while - can only receive -. O- blood is the universal donor. They can give to any of the 8 major blood types but can only receive O-. AB- is a rare blood type for someone to have, but not as difficult to source for blood as O-.

If she's O-, while it's less common than AB-, it's a universal donor, not acceptor, and can only accept other O- blood. O- blood type accounts for only about 13% of the population. At least the author didn't say AB- blood which can accept literally ANY negative blood type of the 8 major blood types. So sick of seeing that. Yes, AB + and - are rarer, but sourcing blood for them is FAR easier.

O- blood isn't super common in reality (~13% of the population has it) and it's a universal donor but can only accept itself. If they're going to run out of one type of blood, and it's that one, any O- person is in trouble. 😅 Anyone else that has one of the 8 major blood types has at least two options: O- and their own type.

There are some that are rarer but of the 8 main types, AB- is least common. AB- isn't that hard to source blood for though. It can receive any negative blood type, AB-, A-, B-, or O-. O- can only receive O- blood but every other blood type (of the common ones) can receive O- blood.

Even if she had actually liked him initially (we all know she didn't 🤭 but suppose someone did), I feel, in general, like they'd be far less likely to ask again after being rejected the first time. 🤨

Your example isn't bad at all, it just doesn't feel applicable to me in this instance. It doesn't seem to match the set up the author gave. It stated that she has to work harder than her "siblings" to achieve the same results academically. It doesn't come as naturally to her as to some others and not that she just didn't apply herself (although there is some of that as well as her focus was elsewhere the first time around). I'm not saying she's stupid or can't study and do well. I'm sure she can and we've seen her do so. She studies on the wall while she waits and goes to do her homework, etc. She's a fine student this time around. However, I'm saying her suddenly being amazing (ie good enough to outshine everyone in school level of good) at all of those subjects, especially when each individual one would require a significant amount of time/work for her, is unlikely given what the author has told us. At least that's how it feels to me. I do understand if you feel differently, of course. It's just that, in my opinion when I was reading this, it felt inconsistent. Also, from what I remember, the only things they mentioned that she wasn't allowed to shine in were all arts things. She already wasn't doing as well academically so they didn't bother suppressing her there. I may be misremembering that bit but the only examples I remember were things like dance. It's been a while though so I could be misremembering this bit.

It specifically mentioned that she wasn't really amazing academically earlier. While yes, this is partially due to her focus on the arts, that's kind of part of the point. She focused on the arts, not academics, which is why it's surprising that she's seemingly suddenly so good academically without putting in tons of time and effort, which it indicated she'd require (the "she's not a genius" bit and I remember something about how she had to work harder than the other two to achieve results). Yes, she could remember things from her previous life but you can't remember things you never knew so even her base starting point would be really weak. 😬 Yes, she's potentially more focused academically but the tone is more that she's suddenly amazing at all of these subjects which doesn't quite make sense given the previous set up by the author. 😅

I say about because I'm not sure if the author added any non-chapters that show up as chapters in the MTL I saw but it should be pretty close to that number. I thought it would be MUCH sooner!
