No, ‘he does’ is present tence not future tence. I have no idea where you got that from.

I had no issues with the sentence as I have used it before. Plus this is a conversation between friends so slang and shorthand is totally acceptable.

There is nothing wrong with the sentence as written. It is grammatically correct, it just sounds weird.

I think ‘most dangerous’ is more accurate. Lith may be able to do only so much, but he has EVERY SINGLE ONE of the most powerful people on the planet at his disposal. One call can end the world.

Jenma cursed under her breath, understanding the threat she was under. Kamila was a political hot potato that the Royals couldn't afford to drop. She was an oath breaker, a half-citizen of the Desert, but also the tether between Verhen and the Kingdom.

I can see that too. But I also see him skip that step entirely and go straight Eldric, on account of him being all but awakened and his work with the sentient weapon cores could resonate to draw the power in. That would be sick.

His face was pale and his expression tense. Orion's eyes were feverishly staring at Phloria's rune, its sight the only thing tethering him to sanity.

True, but again, the “political” battles in the military are WAY different than normal politics that we see on TV. Just because you have power in the military sphere doesn’t mean you have the same amount of power in the government sphere.

The aircar zipped away and flew away from Kelnar. The densely-populated city made way for elegant parks and stately-looking manors. Those who earned the right to live in those mansions were all big shots of the Republic. Some of them even formed an entire dynasty of civil servants who all worked in the same branch of government.

There is a big difference between economic politics and military politics. Or at least in this story they push that divide more.

"We all know that the use of a wand is needed if we want to extract even more magical power. This here is a crystal core that had been turned into a crystal ball for practice. It is only of the basic tier class so it isn't that powerful." Said Nano. Well it is the same author who writes both. And technically, MVS is the third book in the series. It is this one, my werewolf system, then my vampire system. Lots of stuff caries over.

When I slipped both the gauntlets on, they seemed to be a little big for my arm size. Without warning, the gauntlets gripped around my forearm and fingers. They started to reform and shrink down until they fit nice and snug. It was as if they were hand made for my arms.

Space for one ‘at the ready’ mech. You can still have two mechs that are packed up for shipping.

The weeks went by in a blur. Even the challenge of fabricating the exotic orders didn't fase Ves much. He left Carlos with the rest of the workload and boarded his corvette which held two packed mechs, Melkor's Stanislaw and Raella's Vektrix.

Ves proceeded to give out his instructions to Gavin. He wanted to maximize the early sales of the Old Soul in order to obtain DP quickly. He increased his publicist's discretionary funds for this purpose so that he could start promoting his latest design.

Well remember, those two crystals don’t increase the mech’s stats, they increase pilot focus and weapon sounds respectively. Not something most people would see or think about.

Did I get my other comment correct?

At the last instant before impact, the module reversed its settings, making the shield thirty percent heavier. This slowed down the bash but that hardly mattered when the shield impacted its target an instant later. The extra weight gave the bash more momentum, making the shield harder to fend off.

Super simplistic version: author says less mass = more speed, more mass = more damage. But in reality, the overall speed would be the same since the more mass would slow the shield back down. So less mass = more speed, more mass = less speed, and the same damage done by the shield no matter what. Super super simplistic version: changing the mass of the shield will do absolutely nothing overall and is an unnecessary marketing ploy.

No, think more Teddy Rosevelt or Morphius from the Matrix series. The small glasses that do not have ear pices.
