No, ‘he does’ is present tence not future tence. I have no idea where you got that from.
I had no issues with the sentence as I have used it before. Plus this is a conversation between friends so slang and shorthand is totally acceptable.
There is nothing wrong with the sentence as written. It is grammatically correct, it just sounds weird.
I think ‘most dangerous’ is more accurate. Lith may be able to do only so much, but he has EVERY SINGLE ONE of the most powerful people on the planet at his disposal. One call can end the world.
I can see that too. But I also see him skip that step entirely and go straight Eldric, on account of him being all but awakened and his work with the sentient weapon cores could resonate to draw the power in. That would be sick.
True, but again, the “political” battles in the military are WAY different than normal politics that we see on TV. Just because you have power in the military sphere doesn’t mean you have the same amount of power in the government sphere.
There is a big difference between economic politics and military politics. Or at least in this story they push that divide more.
It is the same author. Of course things would be similar
It is the same author so yeah
Well it is the same author who writes both. And technically, MVS is the third book in the series. It is this one, my werewolf system, then my vampire system. Lots of stuff caries over.
It’s the same author doing multiple books in the same series. Of course there will be a lot of similarities.
I was thinking of the TF2 skit where the Spy drops the bucket on the table. The one where they are dying from teleporting too much.
Space for one ‘at the ready’ mech. You can still have two mechs that are packed up for shipping.
That would give other mech designers a look into his design philosophy which would allow them to copy/steal his technique and take away his uniqueness.
Well remember, those two crystals don’t increase the mech’s stats, they increase pilot focus and weapon sounds respectively. Not something most people would see or think about.
The pocket dimension that solis uses for storage is what they are talking about. It expands to match your mama/power and you can access it no matter how far away you are. It’ the ultimate storage ring.
Did I get my other comment correct?
Super simplistic version: author says less mass = more speed, more mass = more damage. But in reality, the overall speed would be the same since the more mass would slow the shield back down. So less mass = more speed, more mass = less speed, and the same damage done by the shield no matter what. Super super simplistic version: changing the mass of the shield will do absolutely nothing overall and is an unnecessary marketing ploy.
No, think more Teddy Rosevelt or Morphius from the Matrix series. The small glasses that do not have ear pices.
I agree but taking 1 month vs 3ish monthsh is a substantial change in my opinion
