One of my favorite book series. Right up there with The Legendary Mechanic, Cultivation Chat Group, Super Gene and Night Ranger in my favorite series to reread. I’m 1700 chapters in and it wouldn’t surprise me if it went for another 1000. I find all of the martial art well thought out and explained. Can’t wait for the next chapters now that I’m all caught up.
Finally caught up after a long break. 800 chapter binge. It would be interesting to see Rui use skyfall on himself to acellerate himself downward for a gravity assisted strike. I could see him selling a mental manipulation technique that simulates skyfall, he could help them experience what skyfall feels like which would assist them when they do the mental training for it. These assassination attempts come at the perfect time to demonstrate how he will work his new domain techniques in combat. Now I‘m off to reread the beginning to refamilerise myself with his mother and his potential father speculation. What time do chapters come out for you guys so that I’m all caught up I know what to expect.
I’m enjoying the novel so far. It’s entertaining enough to keep my interest. Currently only has 112 chapters with 30ish of those privilege chapters. Was disappointed that it has missed updates the last few days. I feel like more books are starting to miss their scheduled updates at the end of the month then mass release the withheld chapters when it resets. It’s why I no long fall for the paying for privilege.
Just a curious question for the author (I appreciate that you read and respond to comments), is there any plans for a paperback copy to be released? I look on amazon because I like to collect series I enjoy to fill my bookshelves and saw you had kindle version available.
I had the thought that it would be interesting if the different sects started to play a role with helping Rui develop techniques. We have already seen that the long ranger sect was highly interested in the Pathfinder technique. In the future when Rui has proven his ability to develop high grade techniques that if he needed resources/scientists that he could get them from those sects and they act as a sponsor for their development. Especially as he grows to higher realms. We already know that the different sects get a budget from the Martial Union to develop techniques so would be interesting in expanding that detail from earlier. He could potential even meet his friend’s dad that is the head of the Fire sect, promising to leave his son alone to live his life if Rui would help complete a technique that they have put too many resources into but can’t complete or was central for advancing his path to a higher realm.
Excellent book. Very detailed descriptions of martial arts, fight scenes, and science/theory of how martial techniques can become superhuman. I could not stop reading this once I started. One of the best tournament arcs I’ve read in my opinion. Everything is earned and not given by the MC. A few typos, but nothing distracting.
I’m not sure why this book isn’t more popular. This was just the right book to break my reading funk and get me back to enjoying cultivation novels. After a week of bingeing (1400+ chapters) I can say that I’m excited to see how long the author can keep things interesting as we leave the mortal world.
By the time I found this book it was completed so I could just binge read the whole thing. I enjoyed the book for the most part. Some things with the system of leveling up and classes could have been improved which it seems like he applied what he learned here to his second book. The book was a bit of a grind towards the end of the series due to the longest training montage that last for what seemed like 150 ish chapters. Overall though I would say it’s defi nitely worth a read.
I wonder if yuan will gain any insight when he breaks through spirit master to help him in real life. Im ready for him to start moving and maybe meet with some of the “top players” that were mentioned very early in the book so he can earn real money
