It’s pretty good. For Webnovel standards, it’s amazing. Runs fairly hot and cold at times, for example, the missions tend to drag, because the conflict of the mission needs to be set up on the spot instead of being set up over time. It has excellent fight choreography, and the power system is an 11/10. Characters are pretty good, but most of the focus goes to the main character, who is fairly generic, all things considered. The most interesting characters are the ones surrounding the main character, so there’s usually someone interesting on the table. The proofreading on this story is honestly pretty bad. Again, Webnovel standards, so not the worst, but sentences cut off without actually ending, there are spelling errors, and names of things randomly change at times. If bad science and math annoys you, the story isn’t horrible about it, but you’ll occasionally find a spot that’s just a bit off. Overall, a good read, especially if you like new and interesting power systems. Without spoiling, it’s basically martial arts cultivation but the author doesn’t completely turn it into magic.

A lot of people are saying to “tier” the knowledge, but you should bring back the same system from the divine path. Have him sign a contract with the Akashic Records, and because he currently has so little to offer, all he gets in exchange for whatever he has to sacrifice is the dimensional coordinates and names of the other dimensions. You can even have it so that the Akashic Record makes him choose from 3 universes, so that he can’t just choose to go to a universe with all the stuff he wants.

My pet peeve is when authors make memories retroctively viewable in weird ways. For example, a character gains the ability to sense magic, so the author has them revisit old memories and use that magic sense in those memories. That makes no sense; it should be like going back to a memory where your eyes are closed, but these authors make it so that the character can go back to a memory where their eyes were closed, open their eyes and then go look around corners.

Unless you’re planning something more for his bloodline, the current abilities are weaker than the Dragon God bloodline. In Legend of the Dragon King, Gu Yue had half of the Silver Dragon King spirit and she could control seven elements. The other half had the Silver Dragon Spear, so what you’ve revealed of the bloodline so far is just equivalent to the Silver Dragon King. That still makes it ridiculously OP - especially for DD1 - but not Dragon God level.

Please don’t do the “grows old and dies” solution. Spending so much time away from the character means they need to change, and a major component of a story like this is watching the main character grow. If the MC doesn’t change after the timeskip it’s jarring, because living 50 or more years without changing is a ridiculous premise. If he does change, the audience misses out on the development he got during that time.

Just an idea, but would you consider having Aedan complete the beheading of Nearly Headless Nick? It would be cool to see him use holy magic to fulfill that wish
