In a universe where the extraordinary has become mundane and the impossible is merely Tuesday, three minds share one body — and none of them asked for the arrangement.
Sandeep Kulkarni was, by every metric that mattered to him, a perfectly unremarkable man. A Chemical Engineering graduate turned IT developer from Mysuru, he had spent thirty-one years carefully optimizing his life toward comfortable mediocrity. No grand ambitions. No dramatic arcs. Just decent internet, a hard drive full of Marvel films, and the quiet certainty that wanting little was the only reliable path to getting enough.
Then a mutated Nipah variant put him to sleep on a January night in 2025, and he woke up inside the skull of Bruce Banner — six seconds before a gamma radiation experiment rewrote the laws of human biology.
Now he is the third voice in a head that already holds two: Banner, the brilliant and broken physicist desperately trying to understand what he has become, and something older and angrier beneath them both — a green sun that does not speak in words, only in pressure and heat and the enormous, unfocused weight of pure rage.
Sandeep has no powers. No special destiny. No reason to be here that he can explain. What he has is a software developer's instinct for system architecture, twenty years of obsessive MCU knowledge that is rapidly becoming a survival manual, and the deep, practiced laziness of a man who has always believed that the smartest path is the one that requires the least unnecessary effort.
The problem is that he can see exactly how badly everything goes if nobody does anything.
So he will do something. Carefully. Quietly. As efficiently as possible. He will help Banner understand what he is before Ross turns him into a weapon. He will plant the right idea in Tony Stark's head before the palladium kills him. He will build the AI that Ultron was supposed to be, before someone builds Ultron instead. He will keep the Avengers from fracturing over paperwork. He will go to Asgard, because apparently that is a thing that is happening now. He will prepare for a purple alien with a rock collection and the worst utilitarian philosophy in six galaxies.
He will do all of this from inside someone else's body, with no credentials, no independent agency, and a romance philosophy sourced entirely from anime and Marvel films.
The universe is not going to fix itself. Sandeep is not thrilled about this. But he has notes.
